When I was a teen, I had the reoccurring dream. In that dream I was riding an elevator and every time it was something wrong with it. One time, the elevator was going too fast. Another one the elevator was simply falling. And sometimes the elevator was losing its walls as it went either up or down. In every scenario I found myself scared and being uncomfortable to ride in the elevator, every time my experience was unpleasant. With time, these dreams stopped. What could they mean?
Dreams about elevators often symbolize our journey through life and the ups and downs we experience. In your dream, the reoccurring theme of there being something wrong with the elevator could suggest feelings of instability or insecurity during your teenage years. Each scenario represents a different challenge or fear you may have faced during that time.
The elevator going too fast could indicate a sense of being overwhelmed or feeling like things were moving too quickly in your life. The elevator falling might represent a fear of failure or losing control. And the elevator losing its walls suggests a lack of boundaries or a feeling of vulnerability.
Your discomfort and fear in each situation imply that these challenges were difficult for you to navigate at the time. However, as time passed, these dreams stopped, indicating that you may have found ways to overcome or move past these issues in your life.
Overall, these dreams may have served as a reflection of the challenges and insecurities you faced during your teenage years. They could have been a way for your subconscious mind to process and work through those emotions.
